A free service, as-is
Theory Tester is provided free of charge, as-is and as-available. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we make no guarantees about availability, and the service may change or be withdrawn at any time.
No guarantee of exam success
Theory Tester is a study aid. Practising here — even scoring full marks — does not guarantee that you will pass the official driving theory test. Your result on the day depends on the official exam and your own preparation.
Practice material, not official content
Our questions are original practice material written to resemble the style and topics of the Irish theory test. They are not the official RSA or DTTS question bank, and Theory Tester is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the RSA or DTTS.
Accounts
Accounts are free and optional. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service (for example automated scraping or attempts to disrupt the site). You can delete your own account at any time from your account page.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Theory Tester is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including exam outcomes, service interruptions, or errors in practice questions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version always applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
